Transvirtuel Tidal Being 0003 - Pure
Another REAL and INTERESTING treat from Black Ring Ritual Records. A new act from Italy described simply as harsh noise. The thing is... it isn't really harsh noise, but something far more than that! This album entitled as Pure being the project´s debut, released the 11th of June 2018 and the real-time dubbed cassette ltd. to 25 copies.
I really don't know how to describe this. Aggressive glitch-core, cybernetic electronica-noise, mercury machinery?. You tell me, one thing is for certain... It´s hard to put inside a nutshell!. The first track sounds like being on LSD while being converted into a Cyberman (Watch Dr Who). Computerised alarm-like beeping sounds, looped machinelike human-voices, cold assembly-line machinery elements and distorted screams which sounds like lost souls trapped into some cybernetic nightmare. Second track sounds like a nuclear factory experiencing a bloody meltdown. Layered sounds of burning-hot mercury-like water boiling beyond extinction while the sound of another alarm is going in the background. Sounds like an upcoming blast!
Third track sounds like signals being transmitted through cyberspace. Pulse and steel-like laser blasts of informational-shockwaves being constantly uploaded through someone's neural system, and it doesn't sound nice with the warped screaming in the background. Fourth track has the sound of a matrix printer (I Think) being on top of ethereal-like noise-electronics. Almost a hypnotic ambient quality here! The last track ends like the lost soundtrack from a classic Star Trek episode, fans of Boards of Canada might even enjoy this magical piece.
REALLY a fantastic and a UNIQUE release which could please fans of NON (Easy Listening For the Hard...) to Esplendor Geometrico (EG1) to Coil (Worship the Glitch). Not that you could compare it with those (just a little). A pure and delightful cybernetic pain and pleasurable experience that you have to check out!.
